to September 19th; more commonly known as National Talk like a Pirate Day --
to the ever so lovely and extremely fun UTD tradition of "Splatterbeat" --
to Halloween (Ahh! The year's landmark of posting blog-wise! We went as a hospital! Even the girl in the Tavern girl costume! She's really an old school doctor that uses leeches...)
to today where this guy --
who has been dubbed Roger won me 30 dollars at a door decorating contest (thus explaining my fortune... Eh? Eh?)!! Excitement beyond belief has filled me. That's only a taste of what's been going on in my life. But all I can say is I'm supremely happy with where I am and what I'm doing.
College is just as scary as I thought it would be - in some situations - but exceeds expectations otherwise. Plus, it helps that I'm pretty sure that something inside of me (or God, even!) is pulling me closer and closer to the arts! Starting out as a Cog. I dunno! Something just clicked? I started doing more crafts, I made a zombie door, sculpting and writing were all coming easier. My calculus notes aren't riddled with X's and Y's or the derivitives of f(x) but with doodles upon doodles of ducks and sheep and flowers and fox-dolphins and duck-pikmin and - well. The list goes on. In any case! I may or may not be thinking of ideas for NaNoWriMo! If I do happen to think up actual chapters or something, I'll post 'em here for (no one?) you guys to read.
... I miss blogging. I shooooould do it more often, I think. :)
And your lucky numbers are...
